On October 29, 2026, two representatives of MERYT Catalysts & Innovation attended the General Assembly and Business Networking Event organised by AMIQ, held at El Estudio de Ana in Puente Tocinos, Murcia. The gathering brought together representatives from the regional chemical industry to strengthen professional relationships, exchange perspectives and promote business collaboration.

The General Assembly included an opening address by AMIQ President Francisco Sánchez Cano, as well as the presentation of the 2025 Activity Report, the 2026 Activity Plan and the association’s financial matters. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the association’s activities and discuss its priorities for the current year.

Following the Assembly, the programme featured “Quimiofobia” (Chemophobia), a talk delivered by science communicator Daniel Torregrosa. The topic highlighted the importance of scientific communication and the need to promote a better understanding of chemistry, its applications and its contribution to modern society.

The event also included an informal networking lunch, offering participants an opportunity to connect with other professionals and companies, share experiences and strengthen relationships within the regional industrial community.
