
Our colleague Sergio Ruiz García attended on Octuber 2nd, representing MERYT Catalysts & Innovation, the Annual Assembly of SusChem-Spain, held at AINIA’s facilities.
The event addressed the main challenges of the chemical industry in Spain, highlighting the need to promote sustainable innovation, strengthen public support for the sector, and ensure competitiveness in the context of the energy transition.
– Juan José Vilatela presented the role of nanomaterials in the energy transition.
– A round table was held with representatives from CDTI, Tecnalia Ventures, ICIQ and FORESA Technologies, where the role of regulation, financing, and opportunities in green chemistry were discussed.
– The SusChem Awards were presented to recognize excellence in academia, doctoral research, and public-private collaboration.
– At the end of the day, we had the opportunity to visit AINIA’s impressive facilities.
